Corporate Reporting

Union Water Supply System Inc. is in the process of developing its corporate reporting pages within its website in the spirit of transparency and accountability.  Corporate Reporting allows for both financial and non-financial information about UWSS Inc.’s performance, financially and administratively. The main goal is to foster transparency, accountability, and strategic management by providing stakeholders with timely and useful information for assessing the corporation’s commitment to sustainability.

Types of Corporate Reports Available

• Annual Administration Reports:

Provides a comprehensive overview of a company's performance, covering financial data, workforce details, and other key aspects of its operations, prepared by administrative and operational staff at the Ruthven Water Treatment Plant.

• Budgets: 

This report delivers the yearly Budget for UWSS Inc. that is fiscally prudent while also providing for the major maintenance and lifecycle replacements needed to ensure that UWSS facilities and operations are effective and sustainable for the future.

• Auditors Report: 

Auditors’ objectives are to obtain reasonable assurance about whether the financial statements are free from material misstatement, whether due to fraud or error, and to issue an auditor’s report that includes the auditor’s opinion.

• Financial Plan: 

In Ontario, the financial plan for a drinking water system is a mandatory requirement under the Municipal Drinking Water Licensing Program, as outlined in Ontario Regulation 453/07 under the Safe Drinking Water Act, 2002. This plan, which must be formally approved by the system's owner and submitted to the Ministry.
