Canadian Water Network - Annual Report 2025

Union Water Supply System Inc. (UWSS) is a proud to be part of the Municipal Water Consortium within the Canadian Water Network (CWN).  The consortium works with 26 large municipalities throughout Canada.  This collaboration allows for cross peer discussions across various regions of Canada and allows for ongoing continued effort to facilitate shared experiences.  Colleagues from across Canada can meet and discuss issues that have arisen within the water industry, whether through in person gatherings or webinar sessions, networking with industry leaders is important to ensure the resolutions of ongoing or emerging concerns can be tackled quickly and appropriately.

Throughout the year, CWN worked alongside municipalities, utilities, public health agencies, Indigenous-led organizations and private‑sector partners to help navigate these challenges and turn them into opportunities for better decision-making.

The CWN's theme is that collaboration truly moves the needle. Whether it’s tackling infrastructure costs, planning for an uncertain climate future, or protecting public health, CWN continues to bring the right people together to share knowledge, solve problems, and build more resilient water systems for communities across Canada.
