Ministry of Environment, Conservation and Parks (MOECP)

Each year the Minister of the Environment produces two reports: The Chief Drinking Water Inspector’s Report and the Annual Report on Drinking Water. These reports provide the public with vast information regarding the quality of drinking water in Ontario.

Minister’s Annual Report on Drinking Water

The Minister's Annual Report on Drinking Water highlights the steps the Ontario Government has taken to ensure that fresh drinking water is preserved within the Ontario waterways, so residents will have confidence in our drinking water systems.  This report focuses on drinking water policies, programs, initiatives and the progress made to protect Ontario's drinking water sources.  The Annual Report can highlight key achievements and challenges and provide information on any major water quality issues that may have occurred within the past year.
