Drinking Water Taste and Odour Issues - Geosmin
To the residents of the Union Water Supply System, over the past two (2) weeks there have been several taste and odour complaints, rest assured that your drinking water continues to be safe. The musty taste in the water is caused by a naturally occurring compound called Geosmin. This compound does not pose a health risk. To read more of this notification please click the tab below.
Please be advised that the offices of Union Water Supply System Inc. will be closed on Monday, August 4, 2025, in observance of the Civic Holiday.
