Water Filtration Scam

Please be advised that the UWSS has received inquires regarding door to door salespeople trying to sell water filtration systems. The salespeople typically request permission to enter into your home to try and demonstrate to you that your drinking water is of poor quality. This is usually done by chemical trickery by putting electrodes and/or chemicals into a glass of water obtained from your kitchen tap. Please be advised that this is a type of scam as they want you to buy a new filtration system.
