Second Public Consultation Centre – March 7th, 2024

Please join the Union Water Supply System Inc. and its engineer consultant, Associated Engineers, on March 7th, 2024 from 5-7 pm at the Kingsville Arena, 1741 Jasperson Dr., (upstairs Rooms B & C) for its second Public Consultation Centre (PCC). This is an opportunity for residents to review the updated information since the initial PCC in November 2023.

This PCC will allow residents to review the alternative concepts and preferred solutions to providing capacity for the water system. Residents can obtain a better understanding of the peaking capacity issues facing the Ruthven Water Treatment Plant (WTP) and ask questions of the engineers on site. There is also information on the process taken to get to this step, the inventory taken of the environmental impacts, archaeological assessments, and evaluation criteria, with the end goal of completing an Environmental Study Report (ESR). This ESR will also be made available for final public review and comment.
