Customers to be aware of door to door sales

Residents are asked to be aware of door to door salespeople trying to sell water filtration systems. It should be noted that Union Water Supply System, or the partnering municipalities: Essex, Kingsville, Lakeshore or Leamington, are not in any way affilitated with these companies. Salespeople will attempt to gain entry into homes and provide a demontration trying to exhibit that the drinking water from your tap is dirty. Please be advised that this test is used as a way to deceive homeowners. Any concern regarding the safety of your drinking water should be addressed either to the UWSS or your local municipality.
